Event Details

Tinglewood Festival

Tinglewood Festival is Alabama’s premier all-woodworking event, featuring chainsaw carving, whittling, demonstrations, and art vendors. Festival-goers will find everything from knives, wooden bowls, vases, jewelry, and toys, to handcrafted furniture, bird houses, ornaments, and more! The chainsaw carving exhibition will include a panel of well-known artists. Artwork created during the festival will be available for purchase.

In addition to woodworking, the festival features a classic car show, tractor show, live music, and tons of children’s activities. Food and refreshment vendors will be on site for the family event, which will take place rain or shine.

Live music runs all day during the festival with a variety of styles including jazz, neo-soul, bluegrass, and country. Musical acts include the Montevallo High School Jazz Band, Swanglish, the Allen Tolbert Unit, and Michael Warren!

Children’s activities will include a “make and take” art project provided by Living River, the “Balloon Guy,” Dr. Bob’s Traveling Snake Show, inflatables courtesy of JAC’s Rentals, a petting zoo courtesy of Cahaba Critters, games with the Boys & Girls Club, Music with Mr. Mac, Mr. Larry’s Magic Show, Alabama Wildlife Birds of Prey Show, and more.
