The city of Madison is hosting a patriotic extravaganzas this Independence Day weekend.
Thursday, July 2 | Parade and Celebration
Join the City of Madison on Thursday, July 2 for our annual Independence Day Parade as part of the America 250 Alabama Semi Quincentennial City events commemorating 250 years of American history, freedom, and community spirit.
Families and visitors are invited to line County Line Road and enjoy an evening of festive music, creative floats, community pride, and hometown fun. Whether you are participating in the parade or cheering from the sidewalks, this event is a wonderful opportunity to come together and celebrate Independence Day in Madison.
Friday, July 3 | Let Freedom Ring Celebration
There will be inflatables, live music, food vendors, and fireworks to end the night. A free shuttle service starting at 4:30 p.m. will be provided to and from Bob Jones High School for the event.
Live music will be on Dublin Soccer Field #1; food trucks will be in the lower parking lot; and all inflatables will be on Dublin Soccer Field #2.
Gates open at 5 p.m.; Fireworks at 9 p.m.
