Celebrate Silverhill’s rich heritage during the 40th annual Heritage Day.
Since it’s incorporation in 1926, the town of Silverhill has celebrated its rich Swedish heritage and origins. Heritage Day includes a bit of history, with history tour rides, as well as arts and crafts, vendors, food, and live entertainment.
The festival will kick off with a 5K Race hosted by Christian Faith Assembly Church at 8 a.m. Opening Ceremonies will begin at 9 a.m.. The parade will start at 10 a.m. and festival fun will continue until 4 p.m.
The festival will feature food trucks, and more than 50 arts and crafts vendors. A nice play area with activities for kids will be presented free of charge. Live music performances will begin around 11 a.m. Bus tours will be offered every hour for those interested in touring our historical buildings.
