The P.R.I.D.E. Parent Summit is a new annual event aimed at providing parents with awareness and knowledge of the nature and extent of substance use, abuse, and addiction and their effects on individuals, families, and communities. It also provides knowledge and awareness of approaches to prevention, which focus on reducing addiction risk factors and strengthening the protective factors which are most closely related to substance abuse and addiction. The summit includes topics such as:
- Current National Substance Use Trends
- Specific Information on Middle Schools Served by P.R.I.D.E.
- Dangers of Social Media
