OWA Oktoberfest
It’s time to suit up in your finest dirndl and lederhosen, Oktoberfest is coming to OWA Parks & Resort! During this day-long German inspired event, expect the Annual Sister City 5K, arts and crafts vendors, interactive team games, and live entertainment featured throughout Downtown OWA! In addition to an abundance of shops, dining, and entertainment, arts and crafts vendors will be featured throughout Downtown OWA.
Activities:
- 9 am – until: Sister City 5K partners with South Baldwin Chamber of Commerce and the City of Foley
- 12 – 5:00 pm: Kinder Garden Kids Zone with free activities in the Festival Grounds
- 12 – 5:00 pm: Kids Root Beer Stein Holding Contest at Sweet Tooth Alcove
- 12 – 5:00 pm: Fishing for Apple at the Downtown Fountain
- 2 pm – until: Pretzel Eating Contest at the Native Treasures Alcove
- 3 pm – until: Dachshund Derby in the festival ground | Registration below.
- 4 pm – until: All-Ages Yodeling Contest on the Island
- 4:30 pm – until: Beard Contest on the Island
- 5 pm – until: Adults Beer Belly Contest on the Island
- 5 – 8 pm: Adults Stein Holding Contest in Sweet Tooth Alcove
- 5:30 – 8:30 pm – Live Music featuring The Brats on OWA Island
