51st annual Christmas on the Coosa | A dino-mite Christmas
Wetumpka, Alabama, nestled along the banks of the Coosa River, comes alive with the Christmas Spirit each year as hundreds of vendors and volunteers present Christmas on the Coosa. This day‑long event features art vendors, music, fireworks, children’s activities, car show, parade, wakeboarding show, and a skiing Santa! In its 51st year, the theme for this year’s festivities is “A dino-mite Christmas.”
- 8:30 a.m. | Character Breakfast First Session
- 10:30 a.m. | Character Breakfast Second Session
- noon – 7 p.m. | Food, Arts & Crafts vendors
- noon – 3 p.m. | Antique Car Show
- 6 p.m. | The Night Parade
- 7 p.m. | Santa will ski across the Coosa River just before the fireworks
- 7:30 p.m. | Fireworks Show.
