Caribbean Day at the Park
The Caribbean Association of North Alabama hosts its 18th Annual Caribbean Day at The Park on Sunday, September 6 at the John Hunt Park Festival Grounds. The public is invited to enjoy food, games, live entertainment and giveaways. Huntsville Caribbean Day in the Park runs from 11 a.m until 6 p.m. and is a family-friendly event.
Immerse yourself in Caribbean culture, cuisine and lifestyle in a family-friendly environment. A host of vendors selling curried, jerk, and stewed delicacies, as well as scores of other food and non-food items, will be on site to serve the festive crowd.
There will be a string of free activities such as face-painting, arts & crafts, Caribbean board games, musical chairs and a dozen others geared towards children and the entire family.
Attendees will be treated with a slew of Caribbean entertainment, like live reggae band, Caribbean dancing and performances by Soca Music artist.
Entrance is free to the public. Attendees are asked to bring lawn chairs.
