Saturday, November 7, downtown Northport is bringing its very first CANEBRAKE to life.
Canebrake, featuring Porchella, is a completely free, family-friendly afternoon of live music, a wonderful mix of local businesses, and local Northport organizations all celebrating and highlighting NORTHPORT and its heritage.
What to Expect:
• Live Music: Bring your blankets and lawn chairs, find your favorite spot, and enjoy bands across a variety of genres.
• Kids’ Zone: Head over to the Historic Northport Train Depot for dedicated games and children’s activities.
• Food & Treats: Grab delicious bites from food trucks and beverage vendors along the walking route.
• Heritage Tours: Step back in time and celebrate our local history with open-house tours at the Historic Shirley Place and the Historic Northport Train Depot.
• Axe Throwing: Adults can have fun testing their aim with local business—Kiss Our Axe Mobile Axe Throwing!
