Community Awareness for the Youth Back-to-School Resource Event
Community Awareness for Youth (CAFY) is an annual program, managed by the Office of Multicultural Affairs, for students ages 12-18 in Huntsville Madison County that seeks to provide youth with the necessary tools for success into adulthood. CAFY focuses on four pillars of success: Health, Education, Careers and Finances.
This year’s celebration will offer a full morning of resources, entertainment and support for Huntsville and Madison County students. Families arriving early will be welcomed by a live performance from the Huntsville Community Drumline as they engage with attendees outside the venue.
Throughout the event, guests can enjoy lively music, games and prize giveaways led by event DJs, along with a variety of interactive activities for children and families.
A drive‑thru grocery distribution will also be available to provide additional support to local households while supplies last.
The backpack and school supply distribution will begin mid‑morning, ensuring students leave equipped and ready for the new school year.
