Independence Day Flag-Making Contest
July 5 – 6
Make your own homemade flag using white foam board and natural materials to be judged in this fun contest. Materials & flag-making rules will be available at the campground pavilion starting Thursday, July 4. Flags can be turned in any day that week but MUST be turned in no later than 9 a.m. on Saturday, July 6 to be judged. Winners will be announced on DeSoto’s facebook page on Saturday July the 6. Free to participate and open to all ages!
Splish & Splash Pool Party
Friday, July 5 from 6:30 to 9 p.m.
Join the fun at DeSoto’s annual Splish & Splash Pool Party! Cool off in the Olympic-size pool, eat ice cream, & enter for door prizes!
Admission: $1.00 per person
Ice Cream Social
Saturday, July 6 at 4 p.m.
Bring your own favorite homemade ice cream or other desserts to share with your crew at the Campground Pavilion in DeSoto’s Improved Campground. Flag-Making Contest winners will be announced at the Ice Cream Social. Bring your own comfortable camp chair as seating is limited. Free to participate, & open to everyone! Campground gate will be open.
