Birmingham Children’s Theatre: “The Little Engine that Could”
Join Birmingham Children’s Theatre for a special free production of “The Little Engine that Could” by Jean Pierce with music by Sam J. Tumminello.
When a train car full of circus stars (Jojo the Monkey, the sisters Fifi and Mimi, and Lorenzo the Lion) gets stranded, they will need help getting back on track. It’s up to a brave little engine to save the day! Though she’s small and untested, the Little Engine tackles steep hills and big doubts with optimism, kindness, and the famous words: “I think I can!”
Along the way, young audiences discover the power of perseverance, courage, and believing in themselves. This interactive performance brings the beloved story to life with lively music, playful movement, and plenty of audience participation!
