Juneteenth Celebrations in Mobile
Celebrating Freedom, Flavor & Fellowship
The City of Mobile’s 2025 Juneteenth Celebration will take place from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. at Mardi Gras Park. This event will include live performances, kids’ activities, and complimentary food.

Miss Juneteenth America Second Line Parade
Walk with others in the spirit of freedom, pride, and heritage to celebrate culture, legacy, and leadership through the vibrant traditions of Juneteenth. Led by Simone Sharod, WKRG News 5 Anchor and 90th Miss Tuskegee University, and featuring the soul-stirring sounds of the John L. LeFlore Mighty Marching Rattlers, this parade will bring Downtown Mobile to life with rhythm, color, and pride.
Bring handkerchiefs and decorated second-line umbrellas, and dress in festive Juneteenth colors—red, green, gold, and black. Be sure to wear comfortable shoes for dancing and walking.
When: Thursday, June 19, 2025 beginning at 6:19 p.m.
