Annual Catfish Festival in Scottboro
Held along the banks of Lake Guntersville in Scottsboro, the annual Catfish Festival celebrates one of America’s favorite outdoor activities – fishing for catfish. Recognized by Bon Appétit Appalachia as a great hometown family, food & fun festival, this annual event includes fried catfish plates, an arts & crafts show, car, truck & motorcycle show, concerts.
Free Activities for Kids: Free fishing, inflatables, pony rides, train rides, and more
Festival goers are encouraged to bring lawn chairs and enjoy the live entertainment. Beginning at 11 a.m., you can purchase catfish plates.
