Cahaba Lily Festival
Morning Program
The morning program includes vendors on the street, a children’s play area, presentations by various environmental groups, and a lunch in the Cahaba Lily Center.
Keynote speakers:
The program will feature a keynote presentation from Samford University Biology Professor Dr. Larry Davenport. Dr. Davenport has enlightened and entertained the crowd each year with his presentation, “Romancing the Lilies.” He is recognized by many as the foremost authority on the Cahaba lily.
Live Music
The Webb-Tigert Ukulele Duo will be performing during the festival at the Cahaba Lily Center at noon,
Afternoon Program
The afternoon program includes shuttles to the Cahaba River to view the lilies as well as opportunities to rent canoes for river exploration of the Cahaba.
