Cahaba Lily Festival
Morning Program
The Cahaba Lily Festival morning program includes vendors on the street, a children’s play area, keynote speakers, and a lunch in the Cahaba Lily Center, as well as musical entertainment. Registration begins at 8 a.m. and the morning program starts at 9:10 a.m., Saturday, May 17, 2025.
Keynote speakers:
The program will feature a keynote presentation from Samford University Biology Professor Dr. Larry Davenport. Dr. Davenport has enlightened and entertained the crowd each year with his presentation, “Romancing the Lilies.” He is recognized by many as the foremost authority on the Cahaba lily.
Afternoon Program
The afternoon program includes shuttles to the Cahaba River and other activities to be announced soon, as well as opportunities to rent canoes for river exploration of the Cahaba.
