The Annual National Shrimp Festival is one of the nation’s premier outdoor festivals with live entertainment, vendors that offer fine art, arts and crafts, a retail marketplace, kids activities, and of course shrimp.
Entertainment:
Two stages offer continuous musical entertainment with a lineup of national, regional, and local acts. There will be musical acts to please all palates, including blues, Motown, southern rock, jazz, zydeco, and country.
Food:
Shrimp is the star of the show, but you can find a variety of items from more than 50 local and regional vendors lining the boardwalk at the public beach with mouth-watering delights.

the Children’s Activity Village captures the little ones interest with games, crafts and interactive activities that lets them create their own “art” and participate in other fun-filled activities.
5K
The Shrimp Festival 5K is always held on Saturday morning of the festival.
When:
October 9 – 12, 2025
Thursday – Saturday, 10 a.m. – 10 p.m.
Sunday 10 a.m. – 5 p.m.
