Voted Lagniappe NAPPIE Readers’ Choice Award Winner for Best Annual Food Event or Cook-Off, Mobile’s Greek Fest features tours, a Children’s Area with inflatables, ring toss, a Greek market, Greek folk music and dancing! And of course, amazing Greek food!
History
The Festival has deep roots in the city of Mobile. In 1962 a group of parishioners formed a committee to host the first Greek Night. Originally this one night event was held at the Shrine Hall, capitalizing on that first success an annual event was born. That one night event morphed into the Bazaar and now its current iteration of the three-day Festival.
