Independence Day Block Party
Join the city of Semmes for an Independence Day Celebration on Sunday June 29, 2025, from 5 to 9 p.m. in downtown Semmes. There will be fireworks, vendors, food trucks and family fun, including live entertainment from Boys in the Band, a tribute to Alabama, and The Return, a tribute to The Beatles.
Buses on a constant route will be picking people up and dropping them off from all over Semmes.
Bring your lawn chairs and the entire family for an evening of fun celebrating our country’s birthday!

The location will be the green spaces near Honor Park and City Hall. Parts of Wulff Road will be closed. The City will have busses and trolleys running throughout the city in constant rotation.
