Polar Express Christmas Tree Trail
Enjoy the grand opening of the Polar Express Christmas Tree Trail on Friday, December 5. This special event features the official lighting of all trees as well as free holiday activities:
- Lighting of all trees
- Ornament Decorating.
- Christmas Carols.
- Letters to Santa and a Glow Stick Parade.
- Reading of the Polar Express.
- Hot Chocolate and Cookies with music by DJ Todd.
- Snowflake Lane in the Pedestrian Walkway.
- Gingerbread Houses

Madison Wassail Fest
The third annual Madison Wassail Fest will immediately follow the lighting of Polar Express Christmas Tree Trail. Enjoy samples of the downtown merchants’ best wassail recipes, vote for the best tasting blend, register for door prizes and support the downtown businesses by shopping for Christmas gifts.
Trees will be displayed along Main Street in beautiful, historic downtown Madison from Friday, December 5 through Thursday, January 2, 2025.
