Hot Air Balloons!
Hosted on Memorial Day weekend in Point Mallard Park each year, Alabama Jubilee is one of the largest free hot air balloon gatherings in the Southeast, featuring more than 60 balloons.
The mornings are reserved for aircraft competition tasks between pilots and their crews. Evenings consist of half of the balloons flying from the field and half of the balloons staying on the Jubilee field tethering and glowing.
Tethered rides are at the discretion of each pilot and are FREE. Paid flights are not offered during the event.
In addition to the balloon demonstrations, there will be lots of activities. Enjoy arts and crafts, food vendors, an antique car and tractor show, musical entertainment and children’s activities.
Remember that Alabama Jubilee Classic is a no-drone zone; leave your device at home.
