JUNE 11-12, 2018 and JULY 9-10, 2018 — Participants of the DHR Supervisor Conference will learn about team building, safety, recruitment, permanency and best practices for implementing the State Program Improvement Plan.
The training will be held at the Renaissance Birmingham Ross Bridge Golf Resort and Spa, June 11-12, 2018 and July 9-10, 2018.
The conference is designed for State of Alabama Department of Child Welfare supervisors. There will be a variety of breakout sessions featuring topics such as team building, safety, recruitment and permanency. The program is designed specifically for supervisors to help support best practices and the implementation of the State Program Improvement Plan (PIP).
DHR offers this training twice in order for supervisory staff attendance to be divided between the conferences. Half of the supervisors from each county should attend in June, and the other half attends in July.
Participants will learn about team building, safety, recruitment, permanency and best practices for implementing the State Program Improvement Plan.
All DHR Supervisors in the state of Alabama should attend. Social Workers will receive 9 CE credits from the Alabama State Board of Social Work Examiners.
Registration links will be emailed directly to the DHR Supervisor. If you have any questions or need additional information, please contact Vikki Chavis at email@example.com.
